Acne is caused when there is over production of oil, bacteria, dead skin, dirt, pollution, oil etc. block the hair follicles.
This occurs due to hormonal changes during puberty. Face, neck, upper back, chest, shoulders are the areas which are affected.
Various form of acne are, blackheads, whiteheads, small red tiny papules, pus filled lesions, cystic acne, nodular acne.
Symptoms: blackheads, whiteheads, small red bumps on skin which are sometimes filled with pus.
